Washington National Cathedral Behind-the-Scenes Tour (Members Only)

December 16, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

DC Preservation League Members are invited to join us on Thursday, December 16 at 10:00am for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Washington National Cathedral!

Called for in the 1792 Plan of the Federal City, the Washington National Cathedral functions as the national church and has seen many significant services connected to this role. Construction of the Cathedral began with the laying of the cornerstone in September 1907, and was completed post-1971. The Neo-Gothic building was damaged during the 2011 earthquake and has since undergone multiple phases of repairs. Join us for a special look at this important landmark!
