
Jill Cavanaugh, AIA, AICP, is a partner at Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners. In nearly 25 years of practice, Jill has led the planning and design of some of the most complex and transformational projects in Washington, DC. Jill’s area of expertise is in the integration of design, historic preservation, and environmental planning in civic architecture. She has completed successful design modernizations at numerous historic landmarks and sites of cultural significance, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, Carnegie Library, US Capitol Building, and Washington Union Station. Her international portfolio includes planning and design work at the Holy Mosque in Mekkah and dozens of embassies and consulates worldwide.
Jill has been the leader of the Washington, DC, office for over a decade and is the chair of BBB’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Group, responsible for guiding EDI policies and initiatives across the firm.
