
Robert McClennan, AIA has 22 years of experience in the architectural profession. Working within a multitude of scales, architectural styles and typologies, Mr. McClennan is a dedicated professional bringing a depth of knowledge from design through construction. His range of project experience includes mixed-use master planning, retail, mixed-use residential, affordable and special needs housing, and educational facilities. He was the lead designer for several award-winning military housing projects throughout the United States, with a focus on community building and mixed-use, walkable neighborhoods as well as a contextual design response to the regional vernacular architecture and climate. Rob has worked with national retail clients with due diligence and entitlement services for ground up stores and takeovers as well as expansion, renewal and repositioning of existing shopping centers. Rob currently teaches courses on the “Principles of Urban Design” and “Building Materials and Methods” for the University of Maryland Real Estate Development Program. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland.
