Early Bird Building Tour: Meridian International Center

If you’re an early riser, join the DC Preservation League on Thursday, May 22nd, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM for a tour of two historic houses, the Meridian House and the White Meyer House. Architect John Russell Pope designed these opulent mansions for diplomats in Mount Pleasant, complete with dozens of rooms and fabulous spaces for entertaining. Today, both homes are listed on the National Register and serve as the home for the Meridian International Center, a nonpartisan center for diplomacy established in 1960. We hope to see you there!
