Exploring Eternity: DC’s Historic Cemeteries (Bus Tour)

Join DCPL this October for an engaging bus tour that will highlight three historic cemeteries in the District: Woodlawn Cemetery, Mount Olivet Cemetery, and Rock Creek Cemetery. Hop on board for a day of adventure with a catered lunch and personalized tours offered by a variety of guides. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, nature lover, or simply seeking a unique adventure, our tour promises to be a captivating and educational experience for all.

This tour will meet on Saturday, October 28th at 10:30 AM in front of the African American Civil War Memorial (1924 Vermont Avenue NW) and will drop off at the same location.  Restrooms will be available on the bus and at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Boxed lunch will include a sandwich, chips, cookie, and a pickle from Panera. Option for a Turkey, Ham, or Vegan sandwich. Complimentary water will be available on the bus.
