The DC Preservation League is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit, member-supported organization. All revenue raised through membership fees and donations are utilized to underwrite DCPL’s local advocacy work and annual educational programming—including tours, lectures, and workshops.
DCPL memberships are offered to businesses and individuals at a variety of levels, each with their own benefits:
$25,000+ Landmark Membership – Standard membership benefits plus: 20 tickets to the annual fundraiser; 20 tickets for the annual member meeting; reserved seating for 20 at the Preservation Awards (May); verbal recognition at all DCPL events; name listings on event invitations, signage, and websites; a full-page ad in all event programs throughout the year; acknowledgement in event press releases sent to media and on social media, as well as monthly e-newsletters; personal tour of DC for up to 20 people with DCPL Executive Director Rebecca Miller (upon request).
$10,000 Capstone Membership – Standard membership benefits plus: 10 tickets to the annual fundraiser; 10 tickets to the annual membership meeting; reserved seating for 10 at the Preservation Awards (May); verbal recognition at all DCPL events; name listing on all event invitations and websites; one half-page ad in all event programs throughout the year; acknowledgement in event press releases sent to media and on social media, as well as monthly e-newsletters; personal tour of DC for up to 20 people with DCPL Executive Director Rebecca Miller (upon request).
$5,000 Keystone Membership – Standard membership benefits plus: six tickets to annual fundraiser; six tickets to annual membership meeting; reserved seating for six at the Preservation Awards (May); verbal recognition from stage at all events; name listings on event invitations and websites; one quarter-page ad in event programs; acknowledgement in event press release sent to media and on social media.
$2,500 Cornerstone Membership – Standard membership benefits plus: four tickets to annual spring fundraiser; four tickets to annual fall membership meeting; sponsor recognition on invitation and website for one event of your choice – fundraiser, annual membership meeting, or preservation awards. One quarter-page ad in selected event program as well.
$1,000 President’s Circle – Standard membership benefits plus: two tickets to annual fundraiser and annual membership meeting. Sponsor recognition in program for one event of your choice – fundraiser, annual membership meeting, or preservation awards.
$500 L’Enfant Society (Individuals Only) – Two tickets to member-only events. Sponsor recognition in program for one event of your choice — annual membership meeting or preservation awards.
$250 Encore Supporter (Individuals Only) – Two tickets to all member-only events; invitations to special events; discounted ticket prices; early registration for tours and other programs; monthly e-newsletter.
$100 Friend/Dual Membership (Individuals Only) – Two tickets to all member-only events; invitations to special events; discounted ticket prices; early registration for tours and other programs; monthly e-newsletter.
$55 Individual Membership (Individuals Only) – One ticket to all member-only events; invitations to special events; discounted ticket prices; early registration for tours and other programs; monthly e-newsletter.
