Mike Mitchell photographed The Beatles’ first live concert in the U.S. at The Washington Coliseum in 1964. Absolutely determined to find a unique point of view at the press conference before the show, he was the only photographer who got up on stage and captured what have been hailed as some of the best images in rock history.
These photographs will be exhibited in a special gallery in the former ticket lobby of The Washington Coliseum that will be open from February 8th & 9th, 2014 and during the concert on the 11th.
