Join the DC Preservation League and Los Angeles Conservancy on Wednesday, August 31th at 12:00pm EDT (9:00am PT) for a webinar exploring the Conservancy’s history and work to raise awareness of historic places in LA County, prevent their needless demolition, empower people to save the places they love, and foster strong preservation laws and incentives! This presentation will be led by Linda Dishman, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Linda Dishman is President and CEO of the Los Angeles Conservancy, a nonprofit membership organization that works through education and advocacy to recognize, preserve, and revitalize the historic architectural and cultural resources of Los Angeles County. What began as a volunteer group in 1978 now has nearly 5,000 member households, the largest membership of any local preservation organization in the United States.
This virtual program is free and open to the public. It will also be streamed live to DCPL’s Facebook page.
